Q: What about tax, duty etc.?  Do I have to pay it on biodiesel?

Q:  Why do you use stainless steel for your biodiesel reactors?
A:  Because we consider it to be safer than plastic for making biodiesel.  It also has a much greater lifespan.  We are not the only ones who feel this is the case.  Plastic melts. Plastic burns.  Steel doesn't melt (well not until over 1000 degrees).  Steel doesn't burn.  QUALITY steel doesn't corrode.  We guarantee our vessels for 10 years (subject to normal usage).

Q: Why do you use pressure in your system?
A:  Because in our experience it makes the reaction happen faster and more effectively.

Q:  Do you wash your biodiesel?
A:  Yes, and no.  Our policy on this is that we personally do not wash the biodiesel we produce when we use it in tractors and other types of "tough" machinery such as our Ford trucks or Mercedes lorries.  However for re-sale purposes or for more sophisticated engine technology we wash our biodiesel.  We choose not to use water, we use Magnesol.  We do this because we do not want to introduce water into our biodiesel.  Washing is though an emotive subject, which many people have views on.   If you want to water wash the biodiesel our machines produce, then you can of course do that.

Q: Will you offer me a 100% guarantee that I can produce ASTM or EN14214 standard fuel?
A: No.  What we say is that this biodiesel reactor can be used to make fuel of such a standard.  If your input feedstock's are of good quality and you follow the process properly then you will always make high quality fuel that can be used in your own vehicles.  If you then wash your biodiesel with Magnesol you should meet and exceed the fuel standards.

Q: Is making biodiesel dangerous?
A: In our opinion, it is not.  However you must take sensible precautions and follow all safety data sheets for methanol and caustic soda.  Take care, read all instructions carefully and you should be fine.  Our biodiesel reactors are made of stainless steel, which does not degrade with methanol or under heat.  Our system is FULLY sealed and all fumes are vented into water to render them harmless.  In our opinion making biodiesel is no more dangerous than brewing your own beer when carried out in our biodiesel reactors and according to our protocols.

Q: What about tax, duty etc.?  Do I have to pay it on biodiesel?
A:  We are not tax advisors.  The law is however clear.  If you owe duty you have to pay it.
